Acrylic on 14″x35″ wood
It was fun mixing the earthtones of the figure with the greyscale of the plaid shirt. The idea was to make the normally muted colors pop, although it might have done the opposite due to the plaid pattern of the shirt.
The other fun thing I did here was mixing the paint right on the surface, giving it a different look and feel from other work I’ve done.
