I came back to the building where I had done my first big mural and wanted to take a fairly different approach in style. For the background, I tagged it up and did some bubble letters and paste-ups, trying to give the illusion of a graffiti wall that’s been painted over and over through the years. I then incorporated all of that into the face, making it a part of the figure.
I’m still going to do some more work on the front of the building, adding a giant stencil with a fun twist. I’ll get that done on Saturday, and then we’ll see where it goes from there.
