Remember on Day One when I said all of that about priming the wood and spray painting it with a bunch of color? I ripped away at the edges of the painting to reveal that hidden layer. The ripping is equally cathartic and terrifying, as I don’t put a lot of control into how it tears and peals away, so that it feels more organic.
