I did this for my totally awesome wife Katy for the holidays. Katy’s become synonymous with the city, having written about it for the Star, a travel guide for Moon Handbooks, and numerous magazines. She knows where everything is and how to get to it, who has a great sale and who makes the best Moscow Mule, who owns what restaurant and how they got inspired to open it. She’s also the power and the light in my day-to-day life, so I thought it was only fitting to make a present for her of one of Kansas City’s true landmarks.
