Here it is, my first big piece of street art. You can see it in person at 2425 S 50th St, Kansas City, KS. This was a tremendous experience and I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more work like this from me in the near future, some in ways you won’t be expecting!
I’d like to give a few shout outs on this:
First, to my model Louise LeMans. We have another project coming up that I’m very, very excited to announce.
To my reference photographer David Allison. He and I see things the same way when it comes to lighting and posing, making for a very easy collaboration.
To my artistic inspirations, Alice Pasquini and Stinkfish. If you take a look at both of their works, you can see how they obviously influenced me and where I lifted some of what they do and incorporated it into my own work. They’re both tremendously talented!
To Sam, the owner of the building. She has very cool plans and I’m stoked to see how it all comes together!
And to my patient wife Katy, who puts up with me constantly destroying the loft while making my art, leaving paint and cut-up paper and spray paint cans all over the place. Her support has made this past year one of my most creatively fulfilling ever!
