Michael Strider IS local Kansas City wrestling. The man’s given his all to area fans for a long time now, and they love him for it. He’s one of those rare guys who can really make the crowd empathize with what he’s feeling in the ring. When he gets hurt, they flinch. When he cries over winning a belt, they wipe away tears. When he puts on a classic match and breaks kayfabe to thank his opponent, they give him a standing ovation. We’re really lucky to have him here.
