It’s real! It’s damn real! It’s a painting of the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle! This is the second portrait I’ve done of Kurt, taking a completely different approach from the first one. I wanted to really convey his intensity as he’s about to compete in a match. I think I got into that a little too much, because I found myself staying up pretty late, not wanting to stop working until it was just right!
