I was commissioned to do this as a birthday present for my friend Peter Stockdale, who is a giant Iron Maiden fan. I admit to not being familiar with their music. Like, if I heard one of their songs, I wouldn’t know it. It’s weird, because I’ve known about them since I was five or six, because my older step-brothers had some of their tapes. I remember the exotic name (sounding much more ominous than my mom’s favorite at the time, Huey Lewis and the News!) and the lushly painted cover art with their mascot Eddie. I’ve had in-depth conversations with people about Eddie, but yeah, I wouldn’t know one of their songs if I heard it.
Still, it was fun doing something outside of wrestling for the fun of it, and the visuals were cool to play around with!
