I did this one from memory, seeing how well I could draw her. I laid out the basics in pencil and then did most of it with ink. And I never have to draw her again.

After playing with the layered splattering, I wanted to see how that would translate to spray paint. Other than screwing up the placement of the stencils, not too bad. I’d like to experiment with this more on a larger scale.

Wow, twenty of these already, huh? This was done with red dye, white acrylic paint and India ink, trying to evoke those great early-century spot illustrations you would see in magazines like Collier’s.
