DREAM MATCH SERIES: Asuka vs Alundra Blayze

I knew I wanted to have Alundra Blayze aka Madusa in my next Dream Match Series painting but didn’t know for sure who I wanted to face her off against from today’s wrestlers. So, I did as we all do nowadays: I asked Twitter. I had a lot of people say that Asuka would be amazing and you know what?
They were right.
So then I had to think about how I wanted to approach it and went looking through some galleries of famous comic book covers to see what hit the old inspiration fancy. That’s where I saw Todd McFarlane’s cover to Incredible Hulk 340, with Hulk reflecting off of Wolverine’s claws, which also reminded me of Marat Mychaels’ cover to Brigade 2 (hey, I was a teen in the 90’s. Lay off.)
Both of those made me realize, “You know what’d be rad? Alundra Blayze reflecting off of Asuka’s mask. That’d be rad.”
I’ll let you decide if I was right.
